Office Positions

Office Position can range from providing clerical to administrative support in medical office settings. Responsbilities may include are responsible for greeting patients in person and over the phone, providing information, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, verifying and updating patient information, collecting co-pays, providing forms for completion, obtaining pre-authorizations, arranging for referrals and testing, obtaining signatures, following established escalation procedures and communicating with office staff and providers.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: 

 

High school diploma or equivalent required

 

 

EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of medical terminology Medical office experience preferred 

COMPETENCIES: Some knowledge of computer scheduling systems. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
